A note...

I believe your salon experience should feel luxurious, personal,
and refreshingly straightforward. That means no mystery pricing,
no awkward gratuity expectations, and no surprises.

It also means a few policies that protect your appointment time
and allow me to give every client the experience they deserve.

By requesting, booking, or receiving services with Erin Does Hair,
you agree to the policies below.

SALON POLICIES

BOOKING & CONSULTATIONS

New clients are required to complete a virtual consultation before booking their first appointment.

Depending on the service you’re considering, a second in-person consultation may be requested before your appointment is confirmed. This is especially important for significant color changes, corrective color, major transformations, extensions, or services that require additional planning.

Consultations allow us to talk through your hair history, goals, maintenance expectations, investment, and the best plan for getting you there.

Sometimes the answer is “yes.”

Sometimes the answer is “not yet.”

And occasionally, the best answer is “that’s not going to be healthy for your hair.” I will always give you my professional recommendation.

RESERVATION FEE

A 50% reservation fee is required to reserve your appointment.

Your reservation fee is not an additional charge. It is applied toward the total cost of your scheduled service.

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, and because salon appointments can represent several hours of dedicated time, the reservation fee protects that time on both sides of the appointment.

Your card on file may be charged according to the cancellation and no-show policies below.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Life happens. I get it.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, I require at least 48 hours’ notice.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged the full remaining balance of the scheduled service to the card on file.

No-shows may also be charged the full remaining balance.

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to book future appointments.

If something unexpected happens, please reach out as soon as possible. I will always do my best to work with you when circumstances genuinely require it.

ARRIVING LATE

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, and your service is carefully scheduled to allow enough time for consultation, customization, processing, and finishing.

If you arrive late, I will do my best to accommodate you without compromising the quality of your service or the experience of the client after you.

Depending on how late you are, your service may need to be modified, shortened, rescheduled, or cancelled. Additional charges may apply when appropriate.

Please don’t make me choose between your hair and the next woman’s hair.
Nobody wants that kind of drama.

GUESTS & CHILDREN

Appointments at Erin Does Hair are one-on-one experiences.

For that reason, guests, friends, family members, and children are not permitted to accompany you to your appointment unless previously approved as part of a specific service or circumstance.

This isn’t personal. It’s about creating a calm, focused environment and protecting the time, privacy, and experience of every client.

Your appointment is your time. Come enjoy it.

PRICING

Erin Does Hair uses transparent, service-based pricing.

Your service price will be discussed during your consultation and/or booking process.

Services are designed to be as all-inclusive as possible and include the components outlined in the service description.

Additional services, formulas, treatments, or work outside the original service plan may require additional time and investment. If that becomes necessary, we will discuss it before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.

There should never be a surprise at checkout.

COLOR SERVICES & RESULTS

Hair color is a collaborative process.

Your final result depends on your starting canvas, previous color and chemical history, hair condition, texture, density, maintenance routine, and the goals we establish together.

I will always work toward the healthiest, most beautiful result that your hair can reasonably support.

Some transformations require multiple appointments. Some require patience. Some require a change in the original goal.

Professional recommendations regarding timing, maintenance, products, or service limitations are made with the health and integrity of your hair in mind.

SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS

If you have a concern about your hair, please contact me as soon as possible within 7 days of your visit so we can discuss it.

I want you to love your hair and feel confident leaving the salon. If an adjustment is appropriate, it will be handled on a case-by-case basis based on the original service, consultation, and desired outcome.

A service adjustment is not the same thing as a refund for a change of mind or a result that differs from a newly requested look.

NO GRATUITY

Gratuity is not accepted at Erin Does Hair.

Seriously. You don’t need to do the weird wallet dance at the end of your appointment.

My pricing is designed to reflect the value of the time, expertise, artistry, and experience that goes into your service.

If you love your hair, tell a friend. Leave a review. Come back and see me.

That’s plenty.

PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO

I may photograph or record hair before, during, or after an appointment for purposes including education, portfolio development, social media, website content, marketing, and professional training.

I respect your privacy.

If you do not want your face, identity, or other identifying information included in marketing or educational content, please let me know. I will make reasonable efforts to honor that preference.

Your decision about appearing in photography or video will not affect the quality of your service.

PROFESSIONAL BOUNDARIES

Erin Does Hair is a professional salon environment.

I reserve the right to decline or discontinue a service when doing so is necessary to protect the health and integrity of your hair, maintain a safe environment, or address behavior that is inappropriate, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise disruptive.

Respect goes both ways. I’m here to create beautiful hair, not participate in unnecessary chaos.

CHANGES TO POLICIES

Salon policies may be updated from time to time as the business evolves.

The policies in effect at the time of your booking will generally apply to that appointment unless otherwise required by law.

QUESTIONS

If you have questions about these policies or how they apply to your appointment, please reach out before booking.

I’d much rather answer the question beforehand than have an awkward conversation while you’re sitting in my chair.
